When
Jalsa Salana 2026 will held from July 3-5.
Where
Jalsa will be at the Greater Richmond Convention Center (GRCC).
At the annual Jalsa Salana USA, the Waqf-e-Jadid Booth offers attendees the opportunity to learn about one of the most impactful financial and spiritual initiatives of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
Waqf-e-Jadid was launched on December 27, 1957, with the goal of strengthening the faith and spiritual upbringing of Jama’at members in rural areas and spreading the peaceful message of Islam to underserved populations.
The initiative began by training and sending Mu’allimeen (religious teachers) to rural communities to provide religious education, moral guidance, and community support. Over time, the scheme expanded globally and continues to play a vital role in the growth and development of the Jama’at worldwide.
Today, Waqf-e-Jadid contributions support a wide range of humanitarian and spiritual initiatives across the world, including:
Training and support for Mu’allimeen (teachers and missionaries)
Construction of mosques and mission houses
Establishment of schools and educational institutions
Mobile health clinics and eye clinics
Hospitals and medical camps
Water wells and clean water initiatives
Technology and computer institutes
These projects help strengthen communities while serving humanity regardless of faith or background.
One of the remarkable examples of Waqf-e-Jadid’s impact is in Tharparkar, Sindh, where Mu’allimeen have worked tirelessly to educate communities and provide essential services.
Through Waqf-e-Jadid support, the region now benefits from:
Mosques and Jama’at centers
Solar-powered access to MTA broadcasts
Hospitals and healthcare facilities
Medical outreach programs serving surrounding villages
Facilities such as Al-Mahdi Hospital in Mithi provide essential healthcare services, including laboratory services, pharmacy, ambulance support, and diagnostic testing. A large portion of patients receive free treatment, medicines, and lab services, demonstrating the humanitarian spirit of the Jama’at.
Waqf-e-Jadid demonstrates how small sacrifices can create a significant global impact.
Examples of what contributions can support include:
Training a Mu’allim for four years
Supporting a Mu’allim in active service for a year
Helping build mosques and mission facilities
Expanding education and healthcare programs
Children are also encouraged to participate in this blessed scheme through the Young Mujahid program, helping instill the spirit of sacrifice and service from an early age. The names of participating children are submitted for prayers, encouraging them to grow spiritually while contributing to the Jama’at’s global mission.
Attendees are encouraged to visit the Waqf-e-Jadid Booth during Jalsa Salana USA to:
Learn more about the scheme and its history
See how contributions support global projects
Ask questions and engage with volunteers
Participate and make a pledge toward this blessed initiative
Through Waqf-e-Jadid, every contribution helps fulfill the divine promise that the message of Islam will reach “the corners of the earth.”
