Tehrik-e-Jadid

Visit us at the Booth!

Tehrik-e-Jadid, meaning “The New Movement,” is a blessed financial scheme established within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to support the global propagation of Islam. Members of the Community contribute voluntarily to this scheme as a means of participating in the worldwide mission of spreading the message of peace, compassion, and true Islamic values. At its core, Tehrik-e-Jadid funds the training and deployment of missionaries, the construction of mosques and mission houses, the translation of the Holy Quran into the languages of the world, and the establishment of schools and educational institutions across the globe. Every contribution — no matter how small — becomes a brick in the edifice of Islam. As Allah (swt) reminds us in the Holy Quran: “Surely every hour that follows is better for thee than the one that precedes.” (93:5)

Ahmadiyya Worldwide Progress

The fruits of Tehrik-e-Jadid are visible across every corner of the globe. Through the collective generosity of members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the following milestones have been achieved:

  • Established in 214 countries (out of 239 worldwide)
  • 10,021 mosques built
  • Over 3,500 mission houses established
  • 1,800 missionaries actively serving in the field
  • 8 Jamias (Islamic universities) operating worldwide
  • 721 schools providing education
  • 35 radio stations broadcasting
  • Huzur’s Friday Sermon transmitted live in 8 languages simultaneously

Reach of the Holy Quran

One of the most remarkable achievements of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the translation of the Holy Quran into 79 languages, making its message accessible to an estimated 5.4 billion people worldwide. These translations span European, Asian, and African languages, including:

  • European languages (21 translations): Reaching over 2.56 billion speakers, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Turkish, and many others.
  • Asian languages (38 translations): Reaching billions of speakers across Chinese, Hindi, Bangla, Russian, Malay, Urdu, Persian, Tamil, and many more.
  • African languages (18 translations): Reaching over 280 million people through Swahili, Hausa, Sudanese, Yoruba, Wolof, and others. This unparalleled effort ensures that people of every nation and tongue have the opportunity to read and understand the Holy Quran in their own native language.

Visit us at the Tehrik-e-Jadid Booth

The Tehrik-e-Jadid booth at Jalsa Salana USA is open to all attendees. Whether you are making your annual contribution or participating for the first time, our volunteers are here to assist you.

How to donate at the Booth

A contribution of just $25 per family places one symbolic brick in the global edifice of Islam — a lasting act of charity that funds mosques, schools, missionaries, and Quran translations worldwide. You may contribute in the following ways:

  • Cash donations accepted at the booth
  • Check payable to: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA (memo: Tehrik-e-Jadid)
  • For families wishing to involve their children: A special ATM coin bank is available at the booth. Children are encouraged to bring their saved coins and small bills as their own personal contribution to Tehrik-e-Jadid — a wonderful way to instill the value of giving from an early age.

After donating, please provide your name and Jamaat information to our volunteers so your contribution is properly recorded. You may also submit your donation directly to your local Jamaat President or Secretary Tahrik-e-Jadid.

Join the Movement – A Call to Action

We invite every member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community — and all well-wishers of humanity — to participate in Tehrik-e-Jadid this Jalsa season. Every dollar contributed builds a mosque, trains a missionary, educates a child, or places the Holy Quran in the hands of someone who has never read it before. We are, as stated in our motto, “constantly climbing to newer heights every day.” Join us at the Tehrik-e-Jadid booth during Jalsa Salana USA and place your brick in the edifice of Islam.
